As a Presenter, usually it would be desirable to have your hands free. Your options would be a headworn microphone or, the most common among presenters, a lapel (lavalier) microphone. If you will be standing behind a podium or a panelist desk, you could use either a wired or wireless microphone. If you want to be able to move around a presentation area more freely, the wireless option would be the best one so you don't risk tripping on the cable while making the presentation and your range of movement won’t be limited to the length of the extension cord.
